DESCRIPTION:Spanish Golden Age Dance\nChoreographic concordances with Itali
 an and French\nsteps\, styles and dances from the 16th to the 18th century
 \n6th-8th of December 2019\nSchedule 12/16 hours\nFriday 6 4\,00pm-8\,00pm
  for all\nSaturday 7 and Sunday 8 10\,00am–12\,30pm/1\,30pm-3\,00pm for 
 all\n+ 3\,30pm-5\,30pm for advanced level\nProgram\nFor all: Study of the 
 basic Spanish Golden Age dance steps and comparison with the Italian and F
 rench dance steps from the 16th to the 18thcentury\, its similitudes and d
 ifferences.\n\n\n 	Practice of various choreographic variations of Pavana\
 , Pavaniglia (Caroso e Negri) and Pavane d’Espagne (Arbeau).\n 	Practice
  of various choreographic variations of the Spanish Epañoleta and the Ita
 lian Spagnoletta\, in the two kinds of styles. Study and practice of casta
 nets.\n 	Practice of various choreographic variations of Spanish Mariona a
 nd French Folies d’Espagne and comparison between them. Study of castane
 ts.\n\nAdvanced: Further study of more variations of Mariona\, with castan
 ets and of Folías and Folies d’Espagne. Work on improvisation and creat
 ion of our own variations in the different styles\, for solo\, duo\, trio 
 or quartet.\nAna Yepes dancer\, choreographer\, pedagogue\, dance research
 er\,\nteaches Spanish baroque dance according to the following sources:\nE

 42 and\nJuan Antonio Jaque “El Libro de danzar”\, 17th century\nand Fr
 ench Dance according to the\nPierre Rameau and Raoul-Auger Feuillet’s tr
 eaties\nof 17h and 18th century.\nHer work on technique and interpretation
 \,\nas well as the warm-up she proposes\nare also essential elements of he
