DESCRIPTION:Il Laboratorio propone di lavorare su due diverse sfaccettature
  del minuet durante la seconda metà del XVIII secolo. La prima parte sar
 à dedicata al "minuet di sala"\, con una coreografia dell’indiscusso ma
 estro di ballo specializzato nel minuetto\, Marcel: Le Menuet Dauphin. Que
 sta danza fu pubblicata inizialmente nel 1765\, e successivamente da Malpi
 ed nel 1786\, al tempo di Maria Antonietta. La coreografia oltre alle figu
 re ordinarie del minuetto da sala\, è caratterizzata da molte variazioni 
 nei passi e nell’uso dello spazio.\nNella seconda parte del corso\, rise
 rvata a studenti di livello avanzato\, si lavorerà su un'emozionante core
 ografia eseguita dal ballerino di genere grottesco\, Maranesi alla Comédi
 e-Italienne di Parigi (1751) e conservata nel manoscritto di Ferrère. Que
 sto raro esempio di un minuetto per il palcoscenico di epoca tarda\, inclu
 de alcune pantomime e due assoli (per una donna e un uomo)\, e utilizza al
 cuni passaggi inaspettati e complessi\, mostrando elementi virtuosistici d
 el minuetto in un contesto teatrale.\n\nThe Workshop proposes to work on t
 wo differents facets of the minuet during the second half of the XVIII cen
 tury. The main part will be devoted to the “ballroom minuet”\, with a 
 choreography by the undisputed dancing master for the minuet\, Mr. Marcel:
  Le Menuet Dauphin. This dance was initially published in 1765\, and later
  by Malpied\, at the time of Marie-Antoinette. It presents among others th
 e ordinary figures of a ballroom minuet\, but with many variations of step
 s and space.\nFor the second par of the course\, only for advanced-level s
 tudents\, we will work on a thrilling choreography performed by the Grotte
 sco dancer Maranesi at the Comédie-Italienne in Paris (1751)\, and preser
 ved in the Ferrère Manuscript. This rare example of a late minuet for the
  stage\, including some pantomime and two solos (for a woman and a man) us
 es some unexpected or complex steps and displays the virtuosity of the min
 uet in a theatrical context.\n\nIl Laboratorio si rivolge a quanti già pr

 ed to dancers with experience in baroque dance\, dancers and musicians.
